SHOBDON FOOD & FLOWER FESTIVAL 2007
A culinary celebration of Herefordshire and the Marches. 22nd - 24th June

Last year over 2,000 people enjoyed nearly a hundred of the region's finest food, drink & craft exhibitors, musicians and chefs in a culinary celebration of Herefordshire and the Marches at the Shobdon Food & Drink Festival. As well as championing the skills of some of the finest producers from the Midlands and beyond we raised over £4,000 for charity. This year we are supporting the Leominster Riding for the Disabled Association for whom we hope to raise enough money for a new pony as well as contributing towards Shobdon Primary School's fund to build a new Key Stage 1 play area.

We have been holding flower festivals every three years at the church in Shobdon for a quarter of a century and 2007 is our silver anniversary. To celebrate we are merging the two events to form the 2007 Shobdon Food & Flower Festival. The event will be a celebration of Herefordshire gastronomy and horticulture showcasing the incredible talents of some of the country’s most dedicated artisans at a weekend of food, flowers and fun for all the family.

Come and enjoy the finest produce from meats, wines, confectionary and olives to speciality coffees, ciders, juices, spices, cookware, ceramics and garden produce at a weekend to stimulate the senses. Experience live music, cooking and horticultural demonstrations, talks, stunning floral displays, beautiful lakeside walks, pony rides, classic cars, children’s entertainment and much more.

£3 entry (U.16’s free) Festival open from 10am ‘til 5pm Friday to Sunday. All proceeds to charity.

Arrive hungry because you will leave full.
